How many people can fit in the Tilda Swag?
Our swags are King Singles, meaning they are designed for a comfy and spacious one-person sleep, though we can confirm they most definitely fit another person (or dog) if you’re willing to get a bit cozy!
Is the Tilda swag easy to assemble?
Yes! The classic free-standing design of the swag makes set-up and pack down really simple. We specifically tweaked the design with a solo-camper in mind. For more detailed instructions, check out our Youtube!
Do I need to season my swag?
Yes! Seasoning your swag helps seal the canvas. Simply set it up, soak it with a hose, let it dry, and repeat once or twice.
What does seasoning a swag mean?
It causes the canvas fibres to swell and close any micro gaps in stitching or weave—making your swag more water-resistant.
Will the Tilda Swag fit in the boot of my car?
Yep! The swag rolls up into its oversized carry bag (approx. 105 x 39 x 39cm) and fits in most car boots with room to spare.
Who owns Tilda?
Tilda is proudly female-founded and owned by two friends, Maddy Bockett and Kali Rattenbury, who wanted to create outdoor gear that actually speaks to women.
We're an Aussie small business with big dreams, and our mission is to make camping more fun, functional, and empowering for women everywhere.
What is your return policy?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer a change of mind returns. If there’s a problem with your swag, you’re covered by a 1-year warranty - just hit us up at hello@tildaoutdoorscom.au and we’ll get things sorted!
What makes your swags different to others on the market?
Our swags are designed by women, for women—with a focus on comfort, style, and ease of use. We’ve reimagined the traditional swag with thoughtful features like:
- Oversized carry bags that actually fits your bedding
- A soft, neutral colour palette (no camo or neon in sight)
- Simple setup with curved fixed poles and a locking centre pole
- Plush 50mm foam mattress with a washable cover
- Durable metal buckles for ease of one-person pack up
We combine rugged durability with modern design—so you feel confident, comfortable, and proud to roll out your swag anywhere.
Can I buy spare poles or parts separately?

Do you offer a double swag?
Not yet—but it’s on our radar! We’re focused on perfecting our solo swag first before introducing larger options.
